Our specialty is in the area of counseling and wellness - that means as therapists we take a creative, holistic approach to helping our clients cope with the many stressors that life brings to them. Our clients particularly value the efforts we take to decrease the stigma of receiving mental health counseling.
This website is an effort to present you with our entire spectrum of services: if you are having problems with anger, anxiety, relationships, your marriage, depression, an addiction, we want to help you learn more about our counseling, psychotherapy and hypnotherapy information wellness solutions. Our links provide information on: talk therapy - what is it?, types of problems that benefit from counseling, mental health resources, how to define a good therapist and many other questions about therapy.

HEALTHePATH was established by Terry Richardson in November of 2003 following the closure of St. John's counseling center in Joplin, Missouri. Terry was the Therapy Services Coordinator, responsible for providing individual, couples and family counseling, developing groups and the administration of all outpatient mental health services.  HEALTHePATH created an opportunity to combine his years of administrative and clinical experience establishing a unique practice focusing on holistic treatment, creativity and individual growth potential.

Our web site will never be "finished" because we believe that growth and change are a natural process, and we apply this philosophy to our business and our personal lives.
